17th Uhlan Regiment (Poland)


The 17th Uhlan Regiment of Greater Poland (17 Pułk Ułanów Wielkopolskich) started as the 3rd Uhlan Regiment of Greater Poland but was renamed the 17th later as the Polish army got better organized. But the flags was used through the Polish-Soviet War.

The flag with the old regimental number. The four gray stripes are supposed to be  metal rings.


A ribbon in crimson was used.

2nd Light Cavalry Regiment (2 Pułk Szwoleżerów Rokitniańskich)

Formed by veterans from the Polish Legions in 1918 and received the official regimental name in late 1918. Rokitniańskich is in memory of the charge at Rokitna in 1915 by a squadron of Polish Light Cavalry.
